Visa Requirements

Temporary Duty (TDY)

• Original, signed United States Diplomatic or Official passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity, after completion of stay and contain at least two blank visa page

• 1 Fully completed typed and signed Application form

• 1 pre-approved email from the embassy

• Passport-type photograph – 2 (taken in the last 6 months)

• Copy of passport Data Page

• State department letter must be uploaded to the online visa application

Permanent Change of Station (PCS)

• Original, signed United States Diplomatic or Official passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity, after completion of stay and contain at least two blank visa page

• 1 Fully completed typed and signed Application form per individual

• 1 pre-approved email from the embassy

• Passport-type photograph – 2 (taken in the last 6 months)

• Copy of passport Data Page

• State department letter must be uploaded to the online visa application

Additional information required:

• Incumbent’s name
• Diplomatic title at post

After  you completed  the online application,  you will receive an email  from the Embassy once the visa  application is pre-approved. Please  print and submit it together with all the  documents.
