Tourist and Business Visa Requirements

The Embassy of Azerbaijan is switching permanently to their online visa application form. The new form will be required beginning July 16, 2012. No other form will be accepted from this day onward. The new online form can be found here http://eapplication.mfa.gov.az/visa/#/ .  Some important information about the form is listed below. 

• A unique valid email address is needed for each visa application completed.

• The “Humanity validation” (CAPTCHA) may require multiple attempts. Please be patient and refresh as many times as needed to pass the validation.

• There is no clear space for signature. After completing and printing the form, applicants must sign at the bottom of the print-out.

• Original, signed United States passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity

• Passport-type photographs: 2

• Fully completed ONLINE and signed Application Form http://eapplication.mfa.gov.az/visa/#/

• For tourist visas (only single entry): a confirmation letter from a receiving tourist organization or a hotel in Azerbaijan should be registered at the Consular Department of the MFA of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

• For visitor visas (only single entry): an invitation from the citizen of Azerbaijan should be sent through Consular Department of the MFA, the applicant has to state exact address and phone number of inviting party in the application form and to enclose a copy of Azerbaijani citizen identity document

• An invitation. All the requests for any type of visa should be supported by the invitation of receiving party in Azerbaijan, duly confirmed by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Address: 4 Shikhali Gurbanov Str., Baku, AZ 1009. All applications now require an approval from Baku, which can extend the processing time.
